A Letter From Our Founder
Sanctuary for Spirit was founded on the principles of:
Reducing overall harm
The right for each person to experience spirit directly
This means we try our best to reduce our part of harming ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

We believe that every being can reclaim their ancestral ways—reclaiming the folk medicine and folk magic that has been foundational to many cultures.
We believe that you can connect with Spirit, the spirits, and the spirit realms when and how you choose to do so.
This sacred space was developed to be a sanctuary for your spiritual exploration—of your unique path.
All of our ancestors, regardless of their origins, have lived off the land at one point in time or another.
Our world is increasingly growing through technology and modernization.
While there are many beautiful aspects to our modern world, there is a deep disconnect between our ancestral origins—of the spirits that ecologically surround us.
Our sanctuary is a space to honor and celebrate the ethical reclamation of ancestral ways in our modern world.

Many of us come from deeply mixed lineages.
You don’t have to pick sides of which lineage to embrace.
You deserve to embrace all the lineages that created the unique you that walks this earth today.
You deserve to honor all your ancestors, all the cultures and all the traditions that crafted the being you are now.

So, in the words of Ram Das “be here now”.
Embrace the call of your ancestors.
Learn to lead with love and boundaries.
Allow your eclectic nature to shine through your spiritual crafts, rituals, and this ceremony of life.
You are multifaceted.
You are uniquely you because of your ancestral lineages, your life experiences, and the earthly gifts you encompass.
This sanctuary was created to support this sacred process.
It was not created to be the end all be all of your spiritual path, but a checkpoint of support along the way that you can visit whenever you feel called to do so.
A place to explore, journey, and study the parts of you and your lineage that are calling to be reclaimed—and remembered.
A space to craft a spiritual practice peculiar and unique—just like you.
Harness the ritualistic nature of our world to live in ceremony with the spirits that surround us.
Thank you for being here ❤︎
Much love,
Sierra Joleen
