Use this elixir to bring the magic of cleansing, protection, and blessings into everyday life and
ritual gatherings.
INGREDIENTS FOR ELIXIR OIL
CARRIER OIL
Use a carrier oil grape seed oil, olive oil, fractionated coconut oil, or whatever oil you feel connected with.
PLANT SPIRITS: Essential oils, dried, or fresh plant material
Use oils and plants with associations in protection, sweetness, blessings, cleansing properties. If you can get good quality amazing—if you cannot, then use whatever is affordable; Being intentional, present, and full hearted is most important. Work with ingredient spirits you are familiar with and want to deepen your workings with. I personally use olive oil as my carrier, a tincture (whatever I’m feeling that day), oils/extractions of vanilla, orange, frankincense, patchouli, cedar, and lavender for this elixir.
ALCOHOL: Infused alcohol/tincture or plain alcohol
Alcohol adds a layer of protection by being a preservation ingredient for the elixir.
CLEANSING TOOLS OF CHOICE
Use plant material and smoke, light energy, blessed water, or any other cleansing tools you regularly use.
BOTTLE OF CHOICE
Reuse an old dropper bottle or purchase a bottle specifically for this elixir.
HOW TO MAKE A CLEANSING, PROTECTION, AND BLESSING ELIXIR
Ground yourself, give your offerings, and thank the spirits
Get all of your ingredients out
Cleanse the ingredients with your preferred cleansing process
Pray over items collectively with your intention of crafting an elixir oil for cleansing, protective, and blessing—ask the spirits to use their medicine in this elixir
Measure with your heart and your nose—keep smelling the elixir as you craft it so you can adjust your preferences and listen to your intuition
Intentionally pray over each individual item as you assemble the oil e.g. calling upon the frankincense spirit for blessing and protection
Hold the full bottle of oil in your hands to bless the elixir—asking the spirits to amplify the cleansing, protective, and blessing properties of the oil as you also infuse your energy.
Label the oil with the intention— e.g.“Cleanse, Protect, Bless”; “Cleansing, Protective, Blessing Oil”; “Cleansing, Protective, Blessing Elixir”
When using, apply with the set intention—use in your hair, on perfume points, mix with lotion (if skin safe ingredients were used), etc
